This locality in Zambia is known for having produced outstanding specimens of euclase. The miniature shown here is superb. Glassy lustrous well formed complex blue crystals to 1.3 x 1.2 x 1.2 cm in size are forming a 3.5 x 3.2 x 2.4 cm cluster with minor quartz. Bright somewhat flattened hoppered octahedral crystals of native gold are coming aesthetically off of a massive colorless quartz matrix. The gold is for the most part free-standing. Superbly crystallized brilliant lustrous bright gold, with sharp flattened octahedral crystals measuring to 0.6 cm in size, forming a floater matrix-less cluster measuring 3.6 x 3.2 x 2.4 cm in size. No damage; there is excellent crystallized gold all around 360 degrees. A very "three-dimensional" specimen that is much more attractive in the hand than as shown in the photos.
